high school-my life

Sorry i havent been on in awhile. I am as of 2 months ago a freshman at southwestern high school. my life is currently going great1 i love high school and its going great! My life has changed a lot since i last posted! First of I went to camp (twice to be exact) where there myrealationship with god has grown a ton! I had a great time both week! And if possible I love it more and more each time I go! I cant believe it but the fall SR HIGH retreat is in 2 weeks! Im pumped:) after that I went to Hilton Head on Vaction and that is always! Since school started I have reunited with a couple people that I havent talked to in years and I am now Leading the IMPACT program at my school. That is a progream at my school that meets during lunch and we teach other kids about God! Its really fun and I enjoy it and try to learn from it because I have recently decided that I want to become a youth pastor when I grow up. I am in high school and need to start thinking about my future. Honestly I have grown so much as a person and in my faith with god that it is incridable!!!! I am now in XFORM and its pretty sweet gotta be honest! High school has been super fun and I am defidently looking forward to the future. Finally musical try outs were this week for this years musical Bye Bye Birdie. I GOT INTO THE MUSCIAL. I am super happy! Another thing that I learned this summer how to be confident and this is just one example of success! I am looking forward to the future and relizing that I am growing up (haha)!!:)

Scholarship

As y'all know I LOVE CAMP MISSION MEADOWS!!!!!!!! Last year I was so impacted by this girl who was there on a scholarship, when I got home I decided I wanted to do something. One of the many gifts got gave me was the gift of helping people. I love helping people it gives me great joy! I am so blessed in my life! I mean I get to go to my favorite place in the entire world like 3 times a year! That's awesome! First of this girl had been and 9 house fires with no injurys I thought that was a miricle in it self. When this girl shared her testament it had a great impact on me and I wanted to do something for people like her who have been through a lot, want to go to camp but can't because of money, and love & want to praise God! So when I got home I decided to do something about this. So I came to the conclusion that I should start a scholarship to send a kid to camp who like her loved God, didnt have all that much money, and have been through a lot. The next week week was my birthday I just asked for money from every one I made around $75-100. Around Christmas I also asked for money I also knew that it wasn't possible to make like $275, so I asked for donations. In Christmas money I made around $150! Then I sent out papers to all my family members to explain what I was doing and they were happy to help. Now came the hard part finding the right person to sponser. I just made all the money last month ($350) of my own Money and savings. I asked God to put a person on my heart that he believes would be the right person. Last week I finally found the right person to sponser. It took almost I year but thats fine! She will be going to camp for Full spectrum 2. Our church moto says "to know God, and make him known" I think by making one person known to God that will make I big difference. I think I have really grown In my faith with God and that he is really working in me through this. I will share this story tommorw when I get CONFIRMED!!!! Love, Maddie

Beware of Christians

HEY!!! We had youth group yesterday and we watched Beware of Christians. BEST movie I have ever seen, without a doubt. It was a doucumentary which i dont usually like thoose kind of movies but this one was SUPER good. They have a website with a trailer on it check it. I really suggest watching this. To sumerize it up its about these 4 college guys going to Europe and seeing Gods work there its really incrediable. It talks about many topics that we struggle with on a daily bacis. CHECK IT OUT!

Major weather difference

Omg it's was snowing today it's snowing on April 20 th in Ny and its like 90 in China! Wow! That's a big difference! XOXO, Maddie

Good Friday

Easters almost here! Today is Good friday. I'm sure you already know this but I just want to see if I'm right. Good friday was the day when Jesus had his last supper. Am I right? On sunday it will be Easter. Our family is greeting at our church. We are having 3 services this year. My family is greeting at the third one. I like greeting because that way i get to meet new people who hopefully have a relationship with Christ. But, there are always thoose people who only come to church on holidays (like Christmas and Easter). But most people are there beacuse love God. Well have a good Easter and a good, good friday.
