Scholarship

As y'all know I LOVE CAMP MISSION MEADOWS!!!!!!!! Last year I was so impacted by this girl who was there on a scholarship, when I got home I decided I wanted to do something. One of the many gifts got gave me was the gift of helping people. I love helping people it gives me great joy! I am so blessed in my life! I mean I get to go to my favorite place in the entire world like 3 times a year! That's awesome! First of this girl had been and 9 house fires with no injurys I thought that was a miricle in it self. When this girl shared her testament it had a great impact on me and I wanted to do something for people like her who have been through a lot, want to go to camp but can't because of money, and love & want to praise God! So when I got home I decided to do something about this. So I came to the conclusion that I should start a scholarship to send a kid to camp who like her loved God, didnt have all that much money, and have been through a lot. The next week week was my birthday I just asked for money from every one I made around $75-100. Around Christmas I also asked for money I also knew that it wasn't possible to make like $275, so I asked for donations. In Christmas money I made around $150! Then I sent out papers to all my family members to explain what I was doing and they were happy to help. Now came the hard part finding the right person to sponser. I just made all the money last month ($350) of my own Money and savings. I asked God to put a person on my heart that he believes would be the right person. Last week I finally found the right person to sponser. It took almost I year but thats fine! She will be going to camp for Full spectrum 2. Our church moto says "to know God, and make him known" I think by making one person known to God that will make I big difference. I think I have really grown In my faith with God and that he is really working in me through this. I will share this story tommorw when I get CONFIRMED!!!! Love, Maddie
